hi iam new director i just wanted to get more information about ,how to could adirector direct the actor?.
because as u know most books or reviews about acting is always discussing it from the actor side ,, i didnt find till now any website or document helping director to be better in directing his actor, finaly hope i was clear to make u understand what i mean hope so..
Personally I've never directed anything so everyone's opinion is worth more than mine (unless their movies were badly acted of course) but I think the majority of actors will agree with Captain Kirk:

personally i have found being able so shout the loudest works well.
best advice is prep and rehearsals. spend time before shooting talking with your actors and discusing the scenes.
If you are directing drama the the actors are the most important tool you have as a director. It sounds obvious... but don't underestimate the role and ongoing relationship you must have with you actors. The importance of directing actors comes far above camera angles, editing, music etc etc...
If the acting is bad. The film is bad. Full Stop. You can get away with shaky angles but not bad performance.
The biggest piece of advice I can give you in terms of "How to direct actors" is to act yourself. Im not talking about getting yourself an agent... but attend some free drama classes/amateur dramatics to experience the world of acting, the language and relationships you should establish.
...You could just read a book. But it'll give you 1% of the experience you need to be able to work with actors.
People train to use cameras. To light a space. To edit a scene. You should with actors too.
